The easiest starting point for these issues is lowering personal fuel use, which I have been trying to do. I’ve been insulating my house and kept it cooler last winter, wearing more clothes, and using more wood in the living room instead of the central heating. I try to use trains, and to travel together with friends when using the car if I can.
What are other people doing? How can we make a start to some of the other measures, which are inherently community oriented?
